Weird Dream...

So last night, I had the weirdest dream. I am a strong believer of dream meanings. So every time I dream about something, I have to look up the meaning of it.

My dream was about me filling up the Evo at the gas station. I filled up the tank and as soon as I hopped onto the freeway, I saw the gas level go down to empty. I was like WTF!!! I couldn't believe that going up on the on ramp would waste my gas. I was completely on empty.

I looked up what my dream meant and this is what I came up on:

Gas Station

To dream that you are at the gas station, indicates a need to reenergize and revitalize yourself. It may also suggest that to help and be an assistant to others.

Gas Tank

To dream that your gas tank is empty, suggests that you need to stop and reenergize yourself. You may be feeling overextended.

Gasoline

To see gasoline in your dream, represents energy and spirituality. Thus, to dream that you run out of gas, suggests that you are wearing yourself out. Take a time out.

To dream that you are filling your car with gasoline, symbolizes your need to take better care of your Self. You need to be revitalized.

Gasoline Station

To dream that you are at a gasoline station, indicates that you need to take time out to refuel. You may be running low on energy. The dream also represents your ability to convert outside resources and use it for your own needs.

Its funny how all of this totally makes sense... I've been over working myself way too much. I need to catch up on sleep. This week is gonna be hectic for me cause it's my babe's birthday this week. So I have a lot of people to invite and things to do. Ahh! I know this will all be over soon. :)

It's 4am...

Yes, I know... why am I awake? well because I can't sleep. I have a bad backache and I called my honey, David, and he made me feel better. Yes, I know I'm weird. Just the sound of his voice makes me feel better all the time :)

Anyway, its been a while since I've written on here. What to talk about? What has changed? well lets see, I recently (in May) I bought myself a new car, an Evo X. I still have the xA, but not as into it as I was before. It was giving me some problems (the water pump gave out) but its fixed now. I've decided it is time to get rid of it since it is depressing seeing it there collecting dirt... Hopefully within a month or so I will get it sold.

As far as the Evo, i love it. BUT... sometimes regret that I bought it... I should have saved my money for a house... ohh well. Now im just going to have to work extra hard to save up money. Maybe selling the xA will give me a head start on that.

Okay, i think im gonna stop writting now. Im feeling alot better :) GOOD NIGHT!

I love my job!

These parents are phenomenal at what they do. I am grateful to work for Oakwood school and would not trade this job for anything. The following video was made to support financial aid and endowment for the school and everyone in the video are the parents of kids of whom I work with. Enjoy!

The Phases

I have been a female auto enthusiast for over 5 years now, I have decided to dedicate a special blog post on my pride and joy. As many of you know (or may not know), I own a 2004 Scion xA that I received from my parents in September of 2003.

Many would say, "It was like love at first sight" but in my case it wasn't. I really want
ed to get the 2004 Scion xB, but the day that I was on the hunt of a new car the dealership didn't have any "bone stock" xB's. Like many women, I didn't want to wait. So I looked over the other side of the lot, and there were tons of xA's. I thought to myself, "I'm sure ill learn to love it." So I got it. Drove it home, examined it for a while and that was the point when I realized that the xA was me, quirky and fun.

I couldn't wait... my car NEEDED to get spoiled. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of when I received the car, but I do have some pictures of it before it got to where it is now. So this is when the fun starts. I will go through the phases of the car and share all of the great moments I had with my xA.

Phase ONE:
Here is a picture of my car almost stock but had my first set of wheels and was recently dropped and I guess also tint counts.Mods:

Alpine Sub and Alpine Amp

Phase TWO:
At this point I finally had enough money to put on a replica JDM lip kit that I purchased about a month after the car. And for my birthday my BF bought me a carbon fiber hood. :)

Phase THREE:
My car is coming along pretty well at this point. I'm taking things pretty slow because I don't
have much cash. Well of course there at times where you hit bumpy roads and I think at this point I may have hit a pretty BIG bump. My car was vandalized by someone at 3 A.M in front of my house. So here is a picture and as you can see my hood was damaged, so I had to say bye to my CF hood.Mods:

Phase FOUR:
So I had to put my stock hood back on and was winning a couple of Scion shows that I would
attend. I began to met great people and building great friendships in the Scion scene. This is when I snapped up a good sponsorship with Toyo Tires. They offered me free wheels and tires for a year and half. This is the point where my car was just flawless and clean (IMO).Mods:

Phase FIVE:

The list is growing and small things are going into the car that I obviously didn't take pictures of. But nonetheless, the car is definitely coming along. I installed an OEM spoiler from Toyota and took pictures that same day.Mods:

Phase SIX:
Money, money, money... It does so much! Next, was buying my next mod. It was a bit expensive but worth it.

Phase SEVEN:
My car needed a couple of stickers here and there to support my sponsors th
at helped me get my car to where it was.
Phase EIGHT:
My car is almost feeling like its completed but when your an enthusiast, its like a bad habit. I needed to get something else for my car, regardless of how small or big it was. My car needed something. So HID's, underbraces, and TRD Muffler goes in.

Phase NINE:
Again, not over just yet... actually it will never be over because thats what modding is. A car is never done or finished, it just goes through different phases and changes through time. Its never done until you sell the car and get rid of it. So I decided to make the biggest purchase ever at once. I bought myself new seats, harnesses, head unit, custom built harness bar, carbon fiber hood, and carbon fiber B-pillars.

Phase TEN: My xA has borrowed some new shoes from a friend while I save up money for some new ones. In the mean time, I painted my roof and grill black. I also decided to do a little DIY project by wrapping my headliner is black suede.

As of recently, I have purchased new wheels for my xA and OEM Window Visors (will install this weekend) I am also hoping to do a photoshoot this weekend. So I will keep everyone posted! Hope you enjoyed what I have so far.

Grapples?!

I didn't know what to write about until I was watching TV and saw a commercial and they were talking about Grapples. So this triggered the first blog!

So I thought to myself, "What in the world are Grapples? Okay, a cross between an a grape and an apple. Is it possible?" So I had to look it up. Here I am, infatuated by this whole thing believing that someone had finally had succeeded in crossing two amazing fruits...

Nope, as I figured I was fooled. There is nothing but flavor being infused into the apple. And to think that I was actually excited about a new fruit. DAMN IT!
